This issue of The Masses includes a cover illustration by Robert Minor showing a head-and-shoulders caricature of a "Southern Gentleman" with two men crucified in the background. Other illustrations are by Arthur Young, Maurice Becker, H.J. Glintenkamp, Glenn O. Coleman, and Alice Beach Winter.
