Summary
Image shows an incident in Charleston, South Carolina on April 29, 1867 when the Stonewall Fire Engine Company put an image of Confederate General Stonewall Jackson over their fire engine during the annual Fireman's Parade. Major General Sickles, holding an American flag is portrayed confronting the fire brigade. Sickles had ordered that an American flag be carried in the parade.
