Summary

Humorous drawing shows vaudeville performers backstage applying makeup and stretching. One man stretches a leg high in the air while grasping hooks on a coat rack. Another walks on his hands with his legs twisted behind his back and over his head. This sketch appears in reverse of the recto drawing.
Preparatory sketch, in reverse, for the one published in "The Vaudeville Theatre" by Edwin Milton Loyle, Scribner's magazine, 26:492 (Oct. 1899).
