Tippecanoe inauguration ball, March 4, 1841 : [invitation].

Unaddressed printed invitation to William Henry Harrison's "Tippecanoe" inaugural ball held at Carusi's Saloon in Washington, D.C., on Thursday evening, 4th of March, 1841, one of three balls attended by Harrison. The invitation lists the "managers" of the inaugural ball, including members of Congress, officers of the Army, Navy, and Marine Corps, and citizens. Harrison succumbed to pneumonia one month after the inauguration.
