Trigg, Dobbs & Company Warehouse, 1152 Market Street, Chattanooga, Hamilton County, TN

Significance: Since construction, the building at 1142 Market Street has been used for warehouse facilities. Its architectural significance is derived from its role as one component of a two block area of multi-storied row warehouses. As a group, these buildings possess uniform appearance, mass, and scale which produce a feeling of homogeneity and monumentality. Historically, these buildings were constructed in the midst of a railroad oriented portion of the downtown. They are the only multi-story row warehouses in Chattanooga.
