Turret of Pasaic (i.e. Passaic) monitor, Charleston Harbor, S.C.

Photograph shows a sailor standing at the turret of the Union ironclad Passaic in Charleston harbor, while two men stand above near the pilot house. Indentations in the turret were caused by cannon fire.
