Two probable new Justices to U.S. courts considered this morning by Senate. Washington, D.C., March 27. Wiley Blount Rutledge, Jr., Dean of the University of Iowa's Law School and appointee to the Supreme Court of Appeals of the District of Columbia and William O. Douglas, appointee to the U.S. Supreme Court. Douglas was confirmed, while Rutledge's name was deferred until the committee meets again. 3-27-39
