U.S. Coast Guard Cutter WHITE LUPINE, U.S. Coast Guard Station Rockland, east end of Tillson Avenue, Rockland, Knox County, ME
Significance: "White Lupine" is significant as one of eight U.S. Navy YF 257-class lighters, designed to provide logistical support to naval operations during World War II. Following the war these vessels were transferred to the U.S. Coast Guard, primarily for aids-to-navigation service.
