Summary
Significance: The Dwelling at Lake Worth Inlet Station exemplifies the Coast Guard's standard Dwellings at upgraded and new lifeboat stations built throughout the coastal United States from about 1931 until 1941. The Dwelling retains its original form and interior organization. Its cupola watch house has a commanding view of Lake Worth Inlet, the Port of Palm Beach, the Intracoastal Waterway, and the Atlantic Ocean.
