Summary
Significance: Buildings 401-405 were built in 1941 as part of the early development of the Naval Air Station at Kaneohe Bay, and all existed at the time of the Japanese attack of December 7, 1941. All five buildings were designed with the same basic plan, with adaptations to the local climate, such as large expanses of windows and wide overhanging eaves which are elements of Hawaiian regional housing design.
