U.S. Marines (and a couple of friends) give America's national colors a ride at the Florence, Arizona, parade associated with the annual Junior Parada rodeo, in which young cowboys and cowgirls compete
Summary
"Parada" in this context does not mean "parade," as one might think. Used by many rodeo events around the country, it uses the Spanish word for "stop" to refer to early rodeos in which cowhands literally stopped their hard work to celebrate and show off their skills. Dating to 1932, Florence's junior rodeo is the nation's oldest.
