U.S. Naval Air Station, Shopfitter & Blacksmith Shop, Pensacola, Escambia County, FL

Significance: Building 44, a metal framed shopfitter and blacksmith shop, was built in 1907, and though of no special architectural significance, became the first Seaplane Erecting Shop following the establishment of Pensacola Naval Aeronautic Station January 20, 1914.
