Summary
Significance: Facility 222, dating from 1918, is among the oldest extant buildings in the Marine Reservation, after the original barracks (Facility 221) and the Officers' Quarters (Facilities 201-203). This building, one of the earliest extant multi-use recreational buildings at Pearl Harbor, is associated with both the history of the Marine Reservation and with the history of the Navy providing recreational facilities.
