Summary
Significance: The U.S. Naval Base, Pearl Harbor was designated as a National Historic Landmark in 1964; due to the crucial role it played in the Nation's defense during the twentieth century and the calamitous events which occurred on December 7, 1941. Built in 1927, Tank No. 3 functioned as a part of the Pearl Harbor Naval Base and is an Uncategorized Structure outside the Pearl Harbor National Historic Landmark.
