description

Summary

Significance: This house originally served as a residence for civilian employees of the Naval Hospital. The architecture is very similar to designs seen on Hawaii's sugar plantations in this period. After is was relocated around the year 1943, the building was used as an Officer's Quarters at Hospital Point. The building is the least elaborate of the houses at Hospital Point. It demonstrates the range of building types that were provided for different classes of hospital employees.
