View portrait of late speaker. Washington, D.C., Nov. 12. A portrait of the late Speaker of the House Joseph W. Byrns was hung at the Capitol for the first time today. The first to view it were Speaker William B. Bankhead (left) and Rep. Sam D. McReynolds of Tennessee, Cronies of the late Speaker for years. The portrait was done by Miss. E. Sophonissa Hergsheimer, of Nashville, Tenn. 11/12/37
