Summary
Significance: Unique example of folk art and vernacular architecture. Built by Bavarian immigrants in 1915, this house is an expression of the architectural ideas of Wilhelmine Vogl, who designed and laid out the house. It was built by her husband, John, and their eight children, with the aid of a concrete block machine and molds from Sears.
