Wallace endorses new AAA. Washington, D.C., May 28. Appearing before the House Agricultural Committee today, Secretary of Agriculture Henry A. Wallace flatly endorsed the proposed act "Agricultural Adjustment Act of 1937" which was recently drawn up. It has been estimated that the new program would cost between $250,000,000 and $750,000,000 annually. Wallace said the bill had two fundamental purposes: "safegaurding of nation's food and protection of the farm income", 5/28/37
