Summary
Significance: The Carriage House, built in the early twentieth century, has been remodeled to house the present gardener and his equipment. The simple structure stands at the west end of the property facing the cutting beds and greenhouses. Formal elements of the main house are sympathetically repeated in the roof treatment and exterior siding. Designed for utilitarian purposes, the building adds architectural interest and variety to the estate.
