This is a reproduction of "Russian Crucified", a remarkable painting by a Russian soldier in the Army of General Denikin, commander in chief of the Army of South Russia. Artists who have seen the painting pronounce it a work of singular power and imagination. It represents a woman in peasant dress, nailed to a cross while a circle of scarlet devils dance around her. Trotsky can be observed, in the lower left hand corner of the painting, leering at the unfortunate victims. General Denikin has expressed the wish that the picture be reproduced as a poster in America, as a symbolic representation to America of Russia's suffering
