Christmas greetings in all tongues were broadcast all over the world today by the tiny sons and daughters of foreign diplomats participating in Annual International Children's Christmas Program staged by the National Broadcasting Co. For the first time two American children. Marcus and Melissa Woodring, son and daughter of the Secretary of War and Mrs. Harry Woodring, took part in the broadcast. Finnish Lagation deluged with donations to aid fight with Soviet. Washington, D.C., March 7. Mail from all parts of the nation and from all classes is deluging the Finnish Legation to the extent that its staff has jumped from 3 to 30, and a new building has been rented to handle contributions to aid Finland's fight with Soviet Russia. Money, comes in in letters addressed to Minister Procope, The Finnish Government, The Finnish Government in care of Uncle Sam, etc., and contain contributions ranging from five cents to thousands of dollars. Peace & Democracy group present protests to Italian Embassy. Washington, D.C., April 8. While members of the Washington branch of the American League for Peace and Democracy walked with signs in a picket line a block away, a group of demonstrators walked up to the front door of the Italian Embassy and rung the bell. The door opened briefly, a protest was handed to the unknown attache who glanced at the demonstrators, took the letter, then hastily closed the door. While the group waiting, the door stayed closed, and seeing no answer was forthcoming, they rejoined the pickets who kept at a distance of 500 from the Embassy by police. The group was protesting totalitarian invasions of minority nations in Europe

Enrique Carlos de la Casa, attache of the Spanish Embassy today was robbed of $14,000 in negotiable coupons and $600 in cash while shopping in a Washington department store, he told police the coupons were stolen from his coat which he left on a counter in the men's department, the 10 coupons were valued at $1400 each, and were negotiable on June 15th. The $600 in cash was in $100 bills, and each coupon was a $100,000 treasury bond, 6/3/37

Light symbol of world peace. Washington, D.C., Nov. 4. A torch, symbolic of peace and amity, was lighted last night before the tomb of the unknown soldier at Arlington National Cemetery. After ceremonies conducted by the American Legion, the torch was sent on its way to Paris for observance of Armistice Day there at the Arc De Triomphe.
