Gold key to door of nurses memorial. This key played a unique part in the ceremonies attending the dedication of the nurses memorial building at the Florence Nightingale school, Bordeaux, France. They key was provided by the board and presented by Miss Sophie C. Nelson, representing Miss Noyes and the nurses of America, to Mlle. Larmanou, the oldest graduate of the school present. Mlle. Larmanou then unlocked the door and Dr. Hamilton and the entire school entered. Afterward the key was sent to the nurses of America as a remembrance of the occasion
