During the rummaging about in the stack of board correspondence which Committee Counsel Edmund Toland had before him, inter-office communications were produced which revealed that Leiserson had repeatedly demanded the discharge of Nathan Witt, Board Secretary and 'other amateur detectives.' Probable new member Federal Communications Commission. Washington D.C. July 26. T.A.M. Craven, now Chief Engineer of the Federal Communications Commission. To succeed Chairman Anning S. Prall, who died a few days ago at his home in Maine. Craven, who was a naval officer during the World War, worked with President Roosevelt when he was Assistant Secretary of the Navy, and commander Craven handled the important naval radio buisness. 7/26/37
