Apples for the President. Washington, D.C., Oct 13. A delegation of New England farmers, headed by Congresswoman Edith Nourse Rogers, visited the president today and presented him with a box of Macintosh apples. While presenting him with the apples they also asked for relief of 25,000 farmers whose crops were destroyed by the recent New England hurricane, they are left to right; C.D.
