Work of the American Red Cross in the Otranto Disaster. A large detachment of the survivors passed through Dublin on their way to an American Rest Camp in Southern England. The American Red Cross women in Dublin had made great preparations to receive them, but when their train arrived in Dublin, it was rushed right through without stopping to the port of Kingstown. But the Dublin women were not to be beaten. They took automobiles and got to Kingstown with their canteen supplies just as the train arrived. The soldiers were surprised and pleased. All these men have been outfitted almost from head to foot by the Red Cross at the port where they arrived from the Otranto
