New Coast Guard boat capable of 35 miles an hour. Washington, D.C., May 17. One of the fastest things afloat, the new U.S. Coast Guard patrol boat #441 was put thru its paces on the Potomac River today for the benefit of treasure officials. The range has shielded lights and electrically operated targets, is sound proof and ventilated by a fan which removes gases almost instantly. New target range for Treasury. Washington, D.C., June 10. Secret Service men and other Treasury Department marksmen now have their own pistol range. Just completed in the sub-basement of the Treasury Building in Washington, D.C., the range has shielded lights and electrically operated targets, is sound proof and ventilated by a fan which removes gases almost instantly.
