Axis propaganda. The lavishness of Nazi propaganda is illustrated by this book which Elmer Davis, director of the Office of War information, displayed at his press conference on March 6, 1943. After the book is opened at this place, the left page may be opened upward revealing the flag. The picture is from a fine half-tone in black; the flag is in color. Mr. Davis said the OWI is successfully combatting this Axis propaganda with much simpler material
