The exterior of this check cashing business is covered with a whimsical mural depicting an Afrocentric vision of Detroit in its 1920s heyday: the blue ghost of former Mayor Coleman Young (served 1974-1994) contemplates a thriving downtown from the skies and a tiny Henry Ford is shown driving one of his early automobiles. The largest building in the mural is Hudson's Department Store, which was second only to Macy's in New York City before being demolished in 1998. E. McNichols Road at Alcoy Avenue, Detroit, 2011
