Hannon, San Francisco, testified he is a member of the American Legion and of the Communist Party. He said he joined the Communists to learn of their efforts at infiltration. Hannon supported the charge of Harper Knowles, Chairman of the Radical Research Committee of the Legion, that Communists support was sought by Democratic candidates in California, 10/26/38
