Governor Landon at White House. Washington, D.C., Dec. 21. Campaign bitterness was forgotten today as Gov. Alf Landon, defeated Republican presidential candidate; spent an hour with President Roosevelt at the White House. As he left the Executive Mansion Gov. Landon, who is in Washington to attend the Gridion dinner, told Newspapermen "We talked about Christmas and the children.
