Appearing as the first witness in favor of the Crosser-Wagner Railroad Pension Bill, George M. Harrison, President of the Railway Clerks Association and Chairman of the Railway Labor Executives Association, today told the house Interstate Commerce Committee that 1,500,000 railroad employees favor this new bill which if passed, will replace the present Railroad Retirement Act. Harrison added there was "no doubt of its constitutionality" and that it had been worked out with railroad managements on the understanding that it would not be attacked in courts by them.
