Whittemore, Chief Justice of the Engineering Mechanics Sections, U.S. Bureau of Standards, has been awarded the Edward Longstreth medal for his work in developing this device for testing the machines which in turn test construction materials. The medal is awarded annually by the Franklin Institute, 5/25/37
