Four Freedoms and Arsenal of Democracy posters. The Arsenal of Democracy panel at the National and Civilian Defense Exposition is readied by workmen. Only half the panel is shown here. This and a montage representing the Four Freedoms were designed by Jean Carlu, eminent psoter artist. Each measures 15 x 30 feet and is divided into 2 1/2 foot squares. These panels display a novel new montage technique used only once before. Somewhat handicapped by the broken toe which has kept him on crutches for the past week, Speaker William Bankhead of the House today visited the White House to talk over legislation with President Roosevelt.
