Studies little mollusca. Dr. Paul Bartsch of the National Museum studies mollusk specimens from the Mississippi river in connection with experiments being conducted by the Bureau of Fisheries. These shellfish are little fellows in their infancy. One of the tubes held by Dr. Bartsch holds 1,265,920 specimens, taking up three-fourths of a cubic inch of space, while the other contains 568,000 specimens. 12/22/30
