No. 1 air passenger presents award to PMG. Washington, D.C., May 20. Climaxing the celebration of National Airmail Week, Andre Kostelanetz, noted orchestra and a two-time winner of a trophy for being America's number one air traveler, today presented to Postmaster General Farley, a bronze placque which he (Kostelanzetz) sent around the world by airmail to show how that branch of the service has speeded up the delivery of letters and packages. In 1937 Kostelantz won the title of number air passenger by flying a total of 136, 200 miles. In the center is Lily Pons, noted opera singer and financee of Kostelanetz

This panel, 15 x 30 feett, and another of the same size representing the Arsenal of Democracy were designed for the Office of Emergency Managemen (OEM) by the eminent poster artist Jean Carlu. "Crow Butte." Near Ft. Robinson, Neb. and F.E. & M.V. R.R. -- In battle, the Indians drove the "Crows" up on the mountain and camped on the only approach, intending to kill or starve their enemy. The "Crows" killed and skinned one of their ponies. The hide was made into ropes and used in lowering their ponies and people from opposite side of mountain. The oldest of their number was left to keep up camp fires to deceive their enemy; after three days the old man came down and surrendered and informed them of his tribe's escape. They gave him his liberty for bravery and loyalty to his tribe
