![The Collier trophy is awarded to Uncle Sam's Department of Commerce for 1928. The Collier trophy, which is awarded annually by the National Aeronautic Association to the person or organization for the "greatest achievement in aviation in America, the value of which has been demonstrated by actual use during the preceding year" was presented to the United States Department of Commerce today by President Coolidge. The Aeronautics Branch of the Department of Commerce received the trophy because of its valuable contribution to the furtherance of civil aeronautics.
