The English Countess Daisy Pless, known as "Sister Daisy" and her group of volunteer nurses from the Temploehoff Reserve Hospital near Berlin. "Sister Daisy" has given up her beautiful home "Schloss Firstenstein near Breslau and is now occupying a narrow hospital bedroom in common with many other girls from the best families of Berlin society. Three of the girls of this group are from French families in the French quarters of Berlin.
