New target range for Treasury. Washington, D.C., June 10. Secret Service men and other Treasury Department marksmen now have their own pistol range. Just completed in the sub-basement of the Treasury Building in Washington, D.C., the range has shielded lights and electrically operated targets, is sound proof and ventilated by a fan which removes gases almost instantly. A group of treasury officials are seen in this picture as they inspect the range and go over a high scoring target. Left to right: Elmer Irey, coordinator, Treasury Enforcement Services; J.E. Murphy, assistant chief, Secret Service; J.J. Cash, White House Police; R.P. Hallion, White House Police; Herbert E. Gaston, assistant secretary of Treasury; and Frank J. Wilson, Chief of Secret Service
