Summary
Significance: Built as West End Branch for Washington Loan & Trust Co., which was founded in 1889 and which built its main bank at 9th & F Sts., NW, in 1890. When Washingotn Loan & Trust was absorbed by Riggs National Bank in 1954, this served as branch bank for Rigs until 1965.
