Anne Fitzhugh Miller was an American poet and translator who was born in 1924 and died in 2012. She was the author of several collections of poetry and also translated the works of several French poets, including Paul Eluard and Yves Bonnefoy. Miller was a respected and well-regarded poet in her own right, and her work has been anthologized and published in a number of literary journals and magazines. In addition to her work as a poet and translator, Miller was also a teacher and an advocate for the arts. She taught poetry and literature at a number of universities and was active in promoting the work of other poets and writers.
