Johnstown Public Library, 304 Washington Street, Johnstown, Cambria County, PA Bedeutung: Die Bibliothek verdankt ihre ursprüngliche Existenz und ihren Wiederaufbau der Stahlindustrie. Im Jahr 1877 übergab die Cambria Iron Company das Gelände der Washington Street an die Cambria Library Association, zwei Jahre später wurde die ursprüngliche Bibliothek gebaut. Die bei der Flut von 1889 stark beschädigte Bibliothek wurde mit einer Stiftung von Andrew Carnegie wieder aufgebaut; die Johnstown-Bibliothek war eines der frühesten philanthropischen Unternehmungen des Stahlmagnaten in Amerika.
