Autograph letter, signed, from J. J. Roberts to Theodore Dwight about the Arabic manuscript received from President Benson that created a favorable impression and expressing support for the suggestion to the American Board of Commissioners for Foreign Missions of distributing Arabic books and tracts through Liberia to African tribes. Roberts also expresses his gratitude for the diploma he received from the American Ethnological Society sent through Reverend Pinney and assures Dwight that Roberts will be able to procure more Arabic manuscripts in a few months.
