Print shows the symbolic figure "Britannia" trampling two male figures identified as "Tyranny" and "Oppression" as the winged figure of the Greek goddess Arete, representing "Virtue", places a crown on her head. A scene in the background shows the destruction of the Spanish Armada in 1588.
