Testifying on a proposed bill to ban beer advertising on the radio, Wesley Strugis, Director of the Distilled Spirits Institute, today told the Senate Interstate Commerce Subcommittee that the bill is "Neither necessary nor desirable" he urged the bill not be reported despite the fact that members of the Hard Liquor Industry voluntarily abandoned radio advertising two years ago. 3-31-39
