The "Kinleygarten" (the mill policeme[n] called it) at Lynchburg (Virginia) Cotton Mill[s.] The children of the mill settlement, from six to eight years attend. Several olde[r] boys were hanging around and joining in when they could. Also a mother and babe. They are just waiting to become old enough to get into the mill. The only available school for them is a long way off. Location: Lynchburg, Virginia.
