Rumored peace conference of Pennsylvania democratic factions fails to materialize. Washington, D.C., May 24. The reported peace conference between Pennsylvania's warring democratic factions scheduled for today turned out to be a meeting of John L. Lewis and CIO leaders with their defeated candidate Thomas A. Kennedy. While no statement was given out, it was reported that the discussion centered on future strategy of the democratic labor bloc which swung more than a million votes in the primary.
