After the House went through one of the administration's severest setbacks last night on the neutrality measure, principals involved remain good friends. Rep. Robert Allen of Pennsylvania, Sol Bloom of New York, and Republican John Vorys of Ohio, met after the Bloom Bill went through with amendments which constituted a setback to the administration's Neutrality Bill proposed by Bloom, and agreed that it was a great fight with no grudges. Rep. Vorys led the republican fight that changed the bill and Rep. Allen was a strong supporter of the Bloom Bill

Jenks, Republican, was the winner over Alphonse Roy, Democrat, from the first district of New Hampshire. After an 11-hour session the commission gave the decision to Jenks by a margin of 10 votes.
