Hopkins meets with members of president business advisory council for the first time. Washington, D.C., Jan. 26. The New Secretary of Commerce Harry Hopkins met today for the first time with members of the President's Business Advisory Council. The meeting was designed to be an era of amicable relations between business and the administration. Under Secretary Roper, who founded the council, its advice was frequently given but seldom heeded. Slated for Dictatorship of Bureau of Air Commerce. Washington, D.C., Jan. 7. According to reports Fred D. Flagg, Jr., of Chicago, will be named to succeed Eugene Vidal as Director of the Bureau of Air Commerce, Department of Commerce. The talk is that the Bureau will be completely reorganized by Secretary Roper. The Report says that Vidal will be designated as a special representative of Secretary Roper for an eight week European tour to study aviation abroad and arrange for reciprical landing privileges for transatlantic flights
