Dun & Bradstreet head says small businesses are stabilizers in the national economy. Washington, D.C., May 25. Arthur Whitside, President of Dun & Bradstreet of New York City, told the Monopoly Committee today that small businesses were the 'stabilizers' in the nation's economy because they could readily change their financial structure to meet conditions. 'Sound economy,' he said, 'is utterly impossible unless a man can go into business with a little money.' He defined 'small business' as one being worth from $25,000 to $75,000
