Today was a happy one for little Elizabeth Anne Stitt, three-year-old daughter of Commander-in-Chief of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, for she had the honor of presenting President Coolidge, as head of the American Red Cross, a $500 check for the Mississippi Flood victims and the first "Buddy Poppy" of the season. The check was a contribution from the "buddy Poppy" Relief Fund of the Veterans of Foreign Wars.
